The Annual General Meeting - this time in Würzburg!

It has by now become a cherished tradition for Biyoom’s active members to meet twice a year in different locations to work together for the association and have a nice time together. For our general meeting this April, we gathered in Würzburg.

Over the course of the weekend, we were able to take care of a few things for Biyoom, particularly regarding the website and IT. For example, we now have an interactive dashboard that lets you see exactly how your donations are being used!

The main event of the gathering, of course, was the general meeting on April 11. We can look back on a successful year 2025, during which we raised more donations than ever before and were thus able to transfer more money to the Saboba Youth Center than in previous years—which is excellent news. We also discussed the future at length, including new ideas from the SYC such as the “Ausbildung” project.

Amid all the work for Biyoom, there was still plenty of time for socializing, such as a stroll through the old town or a hike near the Main River. Since we active members have grown into a true circle of friends, it’s always a joy to get together for a weekend like this!
